TIME FOR CHANGE
Because fashion is the second most polluting industrial sector in the world and the countdown is on to save our planet, we can no longer wait to act and consume responsibly.
At 17H10, our mission is to create an eco-conscious wardrobe, SIZED TO LAST, that empowers women while having the least impact on nature and people.
Here's how we get there:

COMMITMENT 1
CHOOSE ECO-RESPONSIBLE & CERTIFIED MATERIALS
At 17H10, we take great care in choosing our materials so that they are as environmentally friendly as possible. We always favor natural, certified materials or recycled or upcycled fabrics (dormant stock that we reuse in our creations).
The other thing we focus on with our fabrics is their comfort and practicality in everyday use, because a garment that's pleasant to wear is a garment that lives, serves and is cared for.

COMMITMENT 2
PRODUCING LOCALLY & PROMOTING KNOW-HOW
Europe has been undermined in recent decades by offshoring, yet our continent still abounds in fantastic textile know-how. We want to help keep them alive, encourage their transmission and establish a virtuous local industry.
A few stories about our European partners:
Our workshop in Portugal is a family business that supports 400 people in a region where employment is difficult. For three generations, these costume experts have been recognized by the finest fashion houses for their precise craftsmanship and superb finishing.
We also work with a workshop in Poland whose employees are women undergoing vocational rehabilitation, ensuring their security and independence, a subject that is close to our hearts.

SUPER 100'S, 120'S
The province of Beilla, Italy, is home to our suppliers of woollen sheets. Nestled at the foot of the Alps, this region has been cultivating its know-how since 1245. Its reputation for excellence is worldwide, and the spinning mills here - Tollegno, Botto Giuseppe, Morgado, Vitale... to name but a few - are the guarantors of top-quality natural materials such as cashmere, wool, silk and linen.
Knowing our partners so well enables us to work with a high degree of transparency: every product is traced, and we are able to trace the origin of the yarn back to weaving and manufacturing.

Commitment 3
DESIGNING EVOLVING & TIMELESS PIECES
An eco-responsible garment is not only "well" produced, it must also be a garment that lasts.
Our pieces are timeless and don't suffer from trends; on the contrary, they pass through them in style without you ever tiring of them.
Our pieces are also scalable: you can easily make them bigger, tighter, shorter or longer, as you wish. We leave plenty of seam allowance for all these alterations. It's so simple and so practical!

COMMITMENT 4
COMMITTED TO INCLUSIVE FASHION
At 17H10, we're developing a wardrobe for all women and all body types. Today, our pieces range from 34 to 48 and we're working to go even further.
A made-to-measure service is also available for those who can't find what they're looking for in our ready-to-wear collections.
Paying homage to every figure, helping every woman to feel more beautiful and more confident is our reason for being and creating.

COMMITMENT 5
BOOSTING WOMEN'S SELF-CONFIDENCE
17H10 is dedicated to sublimating women through tailoring. It's because we've listened to the stories of our customers, of their daily lives punctuated by powerful moments, that we can affirm the power of fashion. Fashion responds to women's needs, enabling them to take on roles and reinvent themselves.
Clothing creates communities, inspires tomorrow's world and makes people dream. 17H10 is a brand by women, for women. We believe in the power of the feminine, in sisterhood, in helping and caring for one another.

YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR COMMITMENTS
We work with workshops in nearby Europe (Portugal, Poland and Greece, depending on the product) that give priority to worker well-being. They follow social responsibility standards that ensure decent working conditions.
One of our main concerns is to produce less and better. To avoid overproduction, we limit our quantities by creating small collections.
One of the best ways to combat over-consumption is to extend the life of your clothes. This means taking good care of them. We also recommend that you have your 17H10 piece retouched, so that you can keep it with you for the rest of your life. You can increase or reduce the size of your pants, for example, with additional seam values.
